We began this morning meeting Joe from the button factory and warming up with a chicken dance! (That’s all we’re saying…you’ll have to ask your young person when they’re home!)
The students experienced two more workshops today, and as I visited each workshop, it was clear that there was such a strong sense of teamwork and support amongst everyone involved in the course. The group has bonded so well and it’s already looking like there will be some very difficult goodbyes on Friday morning!
After lunch we headed off for what turned into a very competitive Easter egg trail – and when I say competitive, that’s just the students, you should’ve seen the staff members! It was brilliant that the weather was on our side as we ventured around the town finding up to 64 Easter eggs (well done Team Joe King!)
This evening we enjoyed some good old fashioned fish and chips before sharing everything we’ve been working on with the rest of the group. What fantastic work they’ve created alongside our professional theatre practitioners. With a day full of activities tomorrow including an outing to Norwich, the pressure is on to polish their pieces for the performance on Thursday night.
What a lovely day! We’ll all sleep well tonight!
