The Climate Mole

Find The Saboteurs and Save The Planet

Workshop Focus: Climate Change / Teamwork / English Practice / Problem-solving
100-minute workshop

Working in teams, your students will investigate some of the causes and effects of climate change, as well as collaborate creatively to discover and explore ways they can help. However, there is a plot twist... in each team, there is a saboteur,  a 'mole' you could say, who is trying to destroy their efforts.

Will the teams succeed or will the saboteurs be victorious?

'The Climate Mole' workshop comprises a variety of creative challenges including code-cracking, a communication game, a teamwork-based quiz, a hands-on task and the creation of mini performances. It's a playful workshop with lots of takeaway messages.

The session is delivered completely in English by one of our native English theatre professionals.

If the class can collectively 'save the planet' there is a little sweet surprise for every student.

We are aware that a lot of young people today have climate anxiety. This workshop has been designed to  focus primarily on what students can do to help change the world a little at a time.

It is not a workshop designed to 'scare' them.
